I have always had a passion to serve others, especially Veterans. As a 15-year Veteran of the United States Air Force, it was an honor to serve my country. Now that I am working for MDVA, I have fulfilled my personal and career goal to serve Minnesota Veterans and their dependents.
I have spent the last 20 years in the private sector as a Nursing Home Administrator, hospital COO, and clinic administrator. MDVA was hiring and I was fortunate to be able to join this amazing team and begin a new career in state service. MDVA aligns with my professional goal to care for those who need healthcare services and my personal goal to serve Minnesota Veterans. MDVA's mission is in direct alignment with my personal beliefs to provide the highest quality care offered to our Veterans and their families.
I would encourage anyone considering a career change to look no further. MDVA is a great place to work and help Veterans and the benefits offered and available for state service are second to none. It is an honor and a privilege to work for MDVA!

January 18: MDVA will be attending a job fair at Anoka County from 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. specifically for healthcare positions. It is located at 1201 89th Avenue NE, Blaine MN.

January 30: Minneapolis Community and Technical College: Our Minneapolis Veterans Home will be speaking to a class of Nursing Assistant students to provide information on what it?s like to work for the Minneapolis Veterans Home.

January 31: Minneapolis Veterans Home will be hosting a virtual job fair via MyCNA specifically for Nursing Assistant positions. Link will be available two weeks prior to event. Event goes from 12-1 p.m.
