Just a few days ago, we emailed you asking for your signature on our petition demanding George Santos resign from Congress. And John, the pressure is working!
After we sent a letter to House Speaker Kevin McCarthy calling for Santos to not be seated on any committees with access to sensitive national security information, McCarthy said that Santos will not be seated on any of the House top committees in the House.
Santos is untrustworthy and should not have access to intelligence information, so this is a good first step, but the job isn’t done yet.
George Santos himself said he will resign if 142,000 people tell him to.

George Santos is now officially a member of Congress. It’s a disgrace.
A New York Times investigation led to allegations of fraud and misrepresentation against Santos for falsely claiming:
– He has multiple degrees from colleges that have no record of his attendance
– His mom died on 9/11
– He’s Jewish and had relatives who were victims of the Holocaust
– He founded an animal non-profit
– He had several employees die in the Pulse Nightclub shooting
– He worked for Goldman Sachs and Citigroup
And John, George Santos has admitted to most of these lies!
Given Santos’s staggering misrepresentations about his background and the questions around his income and campaign financing, it’s clear he’s utterly unfit to serve in Congress. So we’ve sent a letter demanding his resignation.

Since December, allegations of fraud have mounted against Santos.
