Happy New Year! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season. This last week, I was honored to take my Oath of Office for a second term and begin our work on behalf of our new District, which now stretches from Sandoval and Santa Fe Counties in the north to Torrance, Lincoln, and Otero Counties in the South, Guadalupe, DeBaca, and Chaves Counties in the East; and Bernalillo and Valencia Counties in the West. I am deeply honored and proud to have the opportunity to serve our communities and am excited to get to work!

For those of you who are receiving a message from me for the first time, hello! Due to Congressional redistricting every ten years, you are now part of New Mexico’s First Congressional District, and I cannot wait to meet you. Over the weekend, I was sworn in to serve as your Representative and help carry the voices of New Mexicans and your priorities to the U.S. House of Representatives in the 118th Congress.

It was a late night at the Capitol when we took our Oath of Office! Here's a sneak peak behind the scenes as we left the House Floor right after I took my oath to serve you.

For the next two years, I will be 100% focused on delivering for New Mexico and our people. You can see an overview of all that we have accomplished over last year here.
