John, I wanted to
come to you first. My team just briefed me on our finances and... I’m
getting concerned.

My staff showed me the comparison between our fundraising numbers this
time last year and now — and John,
the difference is honestly shocking.
According to our records, we’re actually down 70% from January 2022. Now
we’re facing our first term with a GOP majority and the situation is
urgent — we have to stay strong.

We’re just 11 days into 2023, and already we’re looking at a gap of about
$8,700. But if we can make that up, we’ll be back on track and in a better
position in this new Congressional session.

70% is a BIG difference, so we set a deadline to raise that $8,700 and

From the very start, our campaign has always been powered by donations
from a growing grassroots community nationwide. Most of the contributions
that we receive from emails like this one are under $27 — our average now
is just $20.80.

One donation of $27 might not seem like it would make a difference, but
trust me, every dollar truly adds up – the numbers don’t lie. I am worried
about our drop in fundraising, but I’ve seen our movement move mountains.
