At the end of last year, I had the honor of being sworn in as the new Representative for House District 60. And as I looked around at my legislative class and saw so many Ruth’s List alumni, I felt such a deep sense of community and belonging.

I know the fight that lies ahead. Like you, I was outraged when the Florida GOP passed the most extreme anti-abortion law in our history. I will be a champion for reproductive rights and go to work every day fighting to keep politicians out of the decision about if — or when — to start a family.
