The 118th Congress is officially underway, and it's been chaos from the start under the new Republican leadership.

It took four days and 15 rounds of voting for the GOP to elect their Speaker of the House – the first time in 100 years that the majority failed to elect a speaker on the first ballot. They were only able to reach a decision after Kevin McCarthy made major concessions to the most extreme members of his party.

The GOP has made it clear they're placing politics over what's best for the American people. It's crucial Democrats retake the House majority in 2024 if we're going to make progress on the issues that matter most to you.

We know Matt's seat will be key to the House majority in 2024. As one of only FIVE Democrats to win a House seat last year in a district carried by Trump in 2020, Republicans are going to put PA-08 at the top of their list of seats to flip to grow their majority.
