Ready to level up your professional skills and knowledge? Apply for the
Girl Ambassador Program by Monday, January 23. This four year workforce development program teaches hybrid skills and prepares girls for better paying jobs in technology and professional careers. Through 4 months of skills training, we build self-esteem and self-efficacy to prepare you for a 6 week summer internship (paid and unpaid opportunities are based on skills, participation, and completion).

Girls For A Change collaborates with corporations, startups, nonprofits, and educational institutions to align digital and soft skills development with tomorrow’s business needs and wants. Through paced learning and development, our certified instructors work with girls based on their individual software and hardware proficiencies and life experiences to teach hybrid skills and prepare them for better-paying jobs and leadership roles.


** Additional Perks

In addition to gaining valuable hybrid skills, certifications, and job experience, the Girl Ambassador Program offers the following:
* Professional headshot session
* Waived registration to participate in the Immersion Lab ([link removed]) 2023
* Computer Loaner for sessions, classes, and work
* Reference letters upon request
* Resume support upon request
* Participants who complete three years are eligible to apply for a scholarship
* Students are awarded academic credit when their work-based learning is completed


** Program Dates

* Program dates: January 28 - August 4
* Meeting times: Thursdays from 6:00pm-7:30pm (virtual)
Saturdays from 11:00am-4:00pm (in person at Girls For A Change located at 100 Buford Rd., North Chesterfield, VA 23235
* Location: This is a hybrid program that meets at Girls For A Change and also on Zoom
