Friend,
It has been just a few weeks since our historic campaign came to an end. We might not have received the results we needed to win, but we broke some real barriers and made historic progress that is critical for our future.
We brought together over half a million regular Kentuckians – from the Hood to the Holler – to stand up and say that we have had enough. In half of Kentucky counties, our campaign out-performed the democratic ticket from 2020. And we did it with a small fraction of the financial support or media attention.
We never received the big checks my opponent did. We didn’t have the national support that other Senate candidates enjoyed. And we didn’t have super PACs and dark money coalescing around our race. But despite all of that, we had the support of hundreds of thousands of people like you who decided to stand up and join our movement. For that, I am so grateful and inspired.
But I’ll be straight with you, Friend. Because we left it all on the field in the final days of the election, our campaign has some debt to pay. A combination of unavoidable expenses and missed fundraising goals have left us with a gap that we need to close in order to close out our campaign and focus on building the next chapter.
I need your help. If you are able, please consider making a contribution today.
Thank you again for everything you did and continue to do.
I’ll be in touch soon.
Charles
