We’ve made progress, but there is a long way to go.
Friend,
Every 23 seconds, another person is diagnosed with diabetes in the United States, and every two minutes, another person in America dies from diabetes complications. We have no time to wait—we must work together to bend the curve of this crisis and decrease the number of people diagnosed to create a future in which diabetes is a thing of the past.
All of us at the American Diabetes Association® (ADA) are proud of what we have accomplished together, thanks to your support. With your help, we support our community, pioneer new research breakthroughs, and identify and fund promising research to improve the lives of people with diabetes.
But there is still so much work to do. With your support, ADA is:
•
Encouraging our elected officials to prioritize diabetes issues.
•
Raising the profile of the issue of insulin affordability.
•
Advocating for those living with diabetes who face discrimination.
With your support of the ADA, we can continue our lifesaving work to make breakthroughs in research and provide people with the resources they need to fight diabetes.
Will you donate today so we can keep on fighting? Because diabetes touches so many of us, we are in this critical fight to win. Thank you for standing with us.
