New Heritage Analysis Finds Average American Family Is Effectively $7,400 Poorer Under
Biden <[link removed]> - New data released Thursday showed prices have risen 13.7% since President Biden took office, as measured by the consumer price index (CPI). The overall price level declined 0.1% last month but increased 6.5% in 2022, a year which saw four-decade-high inflation. Even as the increase in the CPI slows, many consumer staples remain highly elevated compared to the start of the Biden administration: eggs are up 189.9%, ground beef 21.1%, gasoline 44.3%, electricity 21.3%, transportation services 19.5%, and housing 11.8%. Heritage Expert: EJ Antoni <[link removed]>
New Polling Data Suggests Active-Duty Military Members Worry About the Politicization of the United States Military <[link removed]> - New polling data show 68 percent of active military members have witnessed politicization in the military and 65 percent of
active-duty military members are somewhat or very concerned about this development. Events that have decreased the trust active-duty members have in the military include the changing policy to allow unrestricted service by transgender individuals (80%), the reduction of physical fitness standards to “even the playing field” (70%), and a focus on climate change as a top national security threat (70%).  Heritage Expert: Tom Spoehr <[link removed]>
Clear Evidence of Election Meddling in Timing of Biden Docs
Discover <[link removed]> - There is very clear evidence of bias and election meddling considering the classified documents were discovered 6 days before the 2022 election, yet news didn’t break until months later. This isn’t the first time Biden has stifled harmful stories at convenient times for his benefit. The same situation happened with the coverup of the Hunter Biden laptop story just before the 2020 election. It is possible, indeed likely, that additional classified documents will be found. The fact-finding process is just starting, but the lack of disclosure the moment those documents were found is extremely troubling and Americans deserve answers. Any investigation must uncover who decided to not immediately disclose the existence of those classified documents and the name of every person in the White House who found out about it before the election. Heritage Expert: Charles “Cully” Stimson <[link removed]> and Zack Smith <[link removed]>
Not Just Misinformation: In Emails to White House, Facebook Admits Suppressing ‘Often-True Content’ on COVID-19 Vaccines <[link removed]> - Facebook told an official at the Biden White House that the Big Tech company <[link removed]> not only suppressed misinformation but took action against the “virality” of “often-true
content” regarding the COVID-19 vaccines. Missouri Attorney General <[link removed]> Andrew Bailey released the documents earlier this week. Bailey obtained them through a court case, Missouri v. Biden, alleging that some of President Joe Biden’s top officials “colluded with Big Tech social media companies to violate Americans’ right to free speech under the First Amendment.” Heritage Expert: Tyler O’Neil  <[link removed]>

Amid Aviation Crisis, Buttigieg’s Transportation Department Expands Vacation <[link removed]> - Wednesday morning, the FAA halted
all outbound flights throughout the country because the Notice to Air Missions System, which provides information essential to flight operations personnel, stopped working, causing a grounding of all U.S. outbound flights for the first time since 9/11. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that Buttigieg is focused on fixing the problem as quickly as possible. Heritage Expert: Roman Jankowski  <[link removed]>
State Court Battles Over Pro-Life Laws Have Begun <[link removed]> - Abortion advocates have begun searching for a right in state constitutions that can be used to attack legal protection for the unborn. The first two decisions along this road, announced on the same day by the supreme courts of South Carolina and Idaho, make it clear that this will be a bumpy ride. Corrupt Power Sector Strangles South Africa <[link removed]> - When CEOs investigate corruption, including internal sabotage from suppliers who want more work, some may not want them around. Consider South Africa’s failed state power utility, Eskom, whose CEO André de Ruyter was treated for cyanide poisoning after drinking coffee in his office. It is now being investigated as an assassination attempt <[link removed]>. The incident came the day after de Ruyter had tendered his resignation, effective March 31. Supreme Court should end federal government’s water overreach <[link removed]> - For decades, there’s been confusion regarding what waters are regulated under the Clean Water Act. As a result, property owners sometimes unwittingly find themselves facing civil and criminal penalties because they didn’t secure a permit for engaging even in normal activities like farming or homebuilding.
