NAFCU President and CEO Dan Berger Thursday met with Rep. Pete Aguilar, D-Calif., to discuss the association’s priorities for 2023 and the outlook for the 118th Congress. Aguilar is the current House Democratic Caucus Chairman and a former credit union executive.

CPI falls in December ([link removed] )

On a seasonally-adjusted basis, overall consumer prices fell 0.1 percent in December, with the Bureau of Labor Statistics reporting that the overall consumer price index (CPI) grew 6.4 percent year-over-year. NAFCU Economist Noah Yosif analyzed the data in a new Macro Data Flash report.
