John,

Last year during all the political upheaval, Suzan and the majority in the House passed more than 400 bills. Out of these hundreds of bills, one is the most critical to the planet. The Climate Action Now bill would require the U.S. to rejoin the Paris Climate Accords.

It is a no-brainer that the Senate should pass this bill. Congress must do more to address the climate crisis, because the evidence all around us proves that climate change is happening now, not sometime in the future. We can't waste more time refusing to act.

John, time is running out. People across the world are demanding immediate action, and Suzan and the House listened. Now it's on the Senate to pass this critical legislation. Will you add your name to our petition to demand Senate Majority Mitch McConnell put this bill to a vote?

One of the first actions Donald Trump took as president was to withdraw the United States from the Paris climate agreement. With each passing day, the Trump administration is undoing the key environmental protections President Barack Obama put in place -- threatening our environment, our health, and our future in the process.

I believe, as one of the greatest countries in the world, the United States should be a leader in the fight against climate change - not avoiding accountability.

Suzan and the House took the first step in stopping the senseless withdrawal from the Paris climate agreement, but we need the Senate to take up the mantle. Add your name to our petition to tell McConnell to vote on the Climate Action Now bill and get to work on getting our country back on track in the fight against climate change.

Thank you,
