John, thanks to your support we achieved some incredible victories in 2022. The congressional election took place on what The New York Times called the fairest map in 40 years, we helped elect Democracy Defenders across the country, and we blocked the “red wave” pundits were predicting.
But make no mistake – our fight to protect democracy is an ongoing struggle. Redistricting lawsuits are in motion in several states, and Republicans no longer see redistricting as a once-per-decade event. The GOP is going to keep trying to manipulate the maps as we speak, so we need to be prepared to continue fighting back.
