We’ve officially lowered the cost of insulin, team! After Future Forum Members fought to pass the Inflation Reduction Act last year, the price of insulin is now capped at $35 per month in 2023! In a time when the rate of type 2 diabetes is surging among younger Americans, and seniors are forced to pay nearly two to three times more for life-saving prescription drugs than people in other countries, we’re incredibly proud of this legislative achievement. But there is more to be done: Drug companies kicked off 2023 by raising the prices of at least 350 other prescription drugs. Do you support our work to make prescription drug price reform a priority in the 118th Congress?
Rising drug prices are costing Americans obscene amounts of money, and Future Forum Members remain committed to lowering health care costs for Americans young and old. Now that the 118th Congress has convened in Washington, Democrats are laser-focused on passing legislation to lower costs and make healthcare more affordable for everyone. Do you support our work to rein in drug prices in the new 118th Congress?
Thank you for letting us know, Team Future Forum
