The serial liar and newly-elected U.S. Representative for New York’s 3rd congressional district, George Santos, has managed to make himself a pariah within his own party – in less than a week.

Considering the standards of today’s MAGA Republican Party, that’s saying a lot.

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has vowed not to assign Santos to any top committees — while leaving the door open for other important committee assignments. Profile in courage, that Kevin McCarthy.

Even while the Nassau County GOP in Santos’ home district has called for his immediate resignation.

I agree. I think pretty much everyone in the country does too, except Santos, who is vowing NOT to resign.
