The Baltimore Sun: "Trump administration proposal puts SNAP benefits in jeopardy"

This is unacceptable: The Trump Administration proposed drastic restrictions to food assistance.

We should be working to eliminate hunger -- not upending the mechanisms for combating it.

Join me and add your name to tell the Trump Administration to stop its attacks on this critical program.

If the Trump Administration's restrictions go into effect, more than 3 million people across the country -- including 50,000 here in Maryland -- could lose access to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, which is more commonly known as SNAP.

The restrictions would affect the most vulnerable among us:

Most SNAP recipients live in households with children, seniors, or people with disabilities.
Roughly 1 million children could lose free school meals.

This should be a no-brainer: Preventing child hunger is an issue we should all care about.

I'd really appreciate if you'd sign your name to stand up to the Trump Administration's dangerous and cruel proposal.

Your friend,

Dutch
