It hasn’t even been one week since Republicans took over the House, and I’ll be honest with you: it’s not looking good.

After late night, backdoor deals – where they caved into Matt Gaetz and other MAGA extremists’ demands – House Republicans put forward a plan to help the uber wealthy dodge their tax bills, gut the Office of Congressional Ethics, and chip away at Medicare and Social Security.

There they go again. You’d think after a midterm election where voters overwhelmingly rejected MAGA extremism that Republicans in Washington would’ve gotten the hint.

But they didn’t, and now we’re all paying for it.

Thanks to the support of folks like you, we protected Democratic control of the Senate last November– but we’ve got an uphill battle to protect it in 2024. With a ONE seat majority and TWENTY Democrats up for reelection – including THREE in states Donald Trump carried handedly – there’s virtually no margin for error.
