Trader Joe's Victory

Trader Joe's Makes the Switch from HFCs

Green America and members have been asking Trader Joe’s to end its use of HFCs, a highly potent greenhouse gas, for the refrigeration systems in its stores. This is great news, and we will continue to urge the company to make the switch in all its stores.

This is a small step towards the right direction. Much more must be done to protect consumers, workers, and our environment.
