John – I’m pissed off.
House Republicans just passed an extreme, anti-abortion law.
They’re sending a very clear sign that – despite the results of the midterm elections, despite what the overwhelming majority of Americans believe, and despite the fact that what we do with our bodies is NONE of their f*cking business:
They are coming for our fundamental freedoms.
It wasn’t a coincidence that this was one of the very first acts of the new Republican-controlled House.
Overturning Roe was ONLY the beginning of their plans to restrict our rights – and this won’t be the last anti-abortion bill they pass this term.
But our movement has always been bigger than Roe – and that’s why we’re marching again on the 50th anniversary of Roe.
We MUST make sure our #BiggerThanRoe March next week is a success. And to be honest, we need more resources.
Your contribution will go towards logistical support, porta potties, buses, warming stations, signs, and other critical infrastructure for our work and our marches.
Thank you,
Rachel Carmona
