Join the Fight Against COVID-19 and Influenza! Apply for Funding from the Vaccine Uptake Intiative
Nearly 90% of deaths from COVID are among people 65 and over. 70-85% of flu deaths are older adults, too. You work with older adults in your community day in and day out. You know how to reach them and you have their trust.

That's why we're inviting you to be part of a massive public health response to these problems: The COVID-19 and Influenza Vaccine Uptake Initiative.

$50 million have been allotted for grants to organizations such as:
  • Senior centers
  • Community centers
  • Local community organizations that serve, support, and include older adults and people with disabilities
  • Faith-based organizations that serve, support, and include older adults and people with disabilities
  • Governmental agencies
  • Other federally recognized nonprofit organizations

This is a life-or-death issue for older adults—and you can make a difference.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis until March 1, 2023, or until funds are exhausted. Project start dates can begin in early January 2023 and close as late as April 15, 2024.

We expect this to be a very popular and competitive funding opportunity, so we encourage all eligible organizations to submit their applications as quickly as possible.

Sincerely,
The NCOA Team
