In it, I highlight the paradoxes of life in 2023. In an age of chiaroscuro, the darks are dark, but in God’s blessed providence the darkness only serves to throw light—our reasons for hope—into sharper relief.
Amid the darkness, you, our readers, stand shining as beacons of light. Through your thoughtfulness, curiosity, and generosity, you point us and each other toward the enduring light of truth.
