John,

We’re certainly not overlooking the many important races happening this year, but we are also starting the year looking ahead to 2024.

The New Pennsylvania Project will be conducting consistent civic engagement and education throughout 2023 to prepare for the municipal elections. We know these local elections will impact communities all across the Commonwealth and often get overlooked.

Time flies, so we want to ensure we are doing everything we can now to set ourselves up for success in the future. Every voter we reach, educate, and empower to vote every year, twice a year, is one less we need to reach in 2024.

Every moment counts, so we are counting on strong grassroots supporters like you, John, to help us make the most of them. Will you help us stay on track to 2024 by chipping in $10 or whatever works for you today?

2024 is already shaping up to be an extremely important and competitive election year, all the way from the presidential and Senate elections down to a renewed fight over Pennsylvania’s legislature.

All our rights and our very democracy will likely once again be on the ballot at every level of government.

John, that is why it is more crucial than ever that we get ahead on our preparations now by continuing our vital work of civic education and voter registration to empower our communities to make the system work for the people — not against them. Will you donate $10 right now to help ensure we’re able to do it?

In solidarity,

-------------------------------------------------------

The New Pennsylvania Project was founded in May 2021 to expand Pennsylvania’s electorate, so it reflects the Commonwealth’s demographically changing population. In the next four years, NPP will engage and empower young residents and those living in underrepresented immigrant communities and communities of color. We register communities to vote, provide civic education about the issues that matter in their neighborhoods, and mobilize Pennsylvanians to vote in every election.
