Fight for $15
**************************
John,
On January 1st, 8 MILLION workers got $5 BILLION in raises. This is on top of the $150 billion in raises for 26 million workers we've won over the last decade. It's a lifeline for workers like me who are still struggling to pay for essentials like groceries, rent, and childcare.
But it's still not enough.
We need more than just $15/hour -- we need unions for ALL to guarantee a real livable wage, respect on the job, and a seat at the table with CEOs and corporations. Will you sign on in support? [[link removed]]
I joined the Fight for $15 and a Union because I was overworked and underpaid at Subway. I was fed up with being pressured to work off the clock and getting paid so little that I couldn't provide for my family, while the CEO and shareholders raked in record profits.
From the beginning, we've been told by CEOs, politicians, and naysayers that we were demanding too much. Now, states across the country are raising the wage.
We're not going to stop until EVERY worker -- in every state and in every store -- has a livable wage, a safe workplace, and union rights. Sign in solidarity now >> [[link removed]]
In solidarity,
