Just take their first act as a legislative body: holding a show vote on Fox News red meat. They claimed they were slashing funding to replace retiring IRS agents — in reality their "legislation" is DOA in the Senate, and has zero chance of ever becoming law. And they know this.
They only want the appearance of legislating. In the end, the House GOP is committed to obstruction and gridlock, and nothing else.
