What we witnessed with the new Republican House Leadership last week is a forecast of what’s to come. GOP representatives seem more focused on creating chaos than governing. The first bill passed under their new majority cut back on audits of tax cheats and added over $100B to the deficit. Their antics and dysfunction will only make Congressman Scott’s job harder.
Democrats on the Hill need all the support we can muster. We need to go all in defending the progress we’ve made these past two years. We cannot allow this country to slip backwards.
