John -- Can you guess the profession that accounts for the largest share of contributions to my campaign?

It's teachers.

We've received 724 contributions so far this year from teachers. 

After teachers, the rest of the top ten includes engineers, attorneys, professors, business owners, writers, software engineers, registered nurses and real estate brokers. 

There are also 64 social workers, 50 graphic designers, 11 school bus drivers and a whole bunch of other folks. 

When I tell you that this campaign is supported by the grassroots, this is what I mean. 

Just like my campaign last year, my re-election campaign is being funded by a whole bunch of people, from many different walks of life, contributing what they can. And I'm really proud of that.

That's also why I need to reach out from time-to-time and ask for your support. Will you donate before tomorrow's deadline?
