Less than two weeks into 2023, we're celebrating a major victory for Virginia Democrats!

Last night, my good friend Aaron Rouse won his race for Jen Kiggans’ vacated State Senate seat by 348 votes and counting, expanding our narrow majority in Richmond. (And I’m very proud to say, two of those votes came from my parents!)

348 voters saved reproductive rights for all 8.6 million Virginians. They guaranteed funding for our public schools. They chose a brighter future for Virginia families.

Your support made this victory possible. But with more than 2,000 elections upcoming in Virginia this year, our work is just getting started.

Here are some of Defense Dem PAC’s key objectives for 2023:

• Expand our digital network to bring more Virginians into our pro-democracy, pro-choice movement
• Endorse bold Democratic leaders across Virginia and help them get elected this November
• Reconnect with swing voters and regain lost ground in rural and suburban districts
• Canvass, volunteer, and register voters to ensure Virginia stays blue in 2024
