I hope you can join me and WE ACT’s Education team at our Uptown Chats event on Wednesday, February 1st from 6-7:30 PM ET, to learn more about our award-winning ([link removed]) environmental education programming.
WE ACT's Environmental Health and Justice Leadership Training (EHJLT) program has trained over 1,000 youth and adults on environmental justice issues and equipped them with the tools to launch advocacy efforts of their own. During this interactive event, you will learn more about EHJLT as well as WE ACT’s involvement in a justice education policy campaign in New York State. You will also be tested on your environmental justice knowledge in a trivia game for a chance to win a prize!
You’ll hear from WE ACT staffers Beau Morton, our Director of Environmental Health and Education; Jaron Burke, Environmental Health Manager; and Pallavi Gupta, Environmental Education Coordinator.
