Here are some updates from today.

• Minnesota lawmakers held a hearing on two bills included in an omnibus pro-voting reform package that would permit 16- and 17-year-olds to pre-register to vote and restore voting rights after incarceration for a felony conviction. Minnesota Secretary of State Steve Simon (D) and numerous citizens spoke in favor of both bills.

• The New York State Senate approved a series of pro-voting reforms. The bills give counties permission to open more drop boxes, make voter suppression a punishable offense and more.

• A Pennsylvania court heard oral argument in a lawsuit over the calling and scheduling of special elections for three vacant state House seats. Find a courtroom summary here.

• Remember how multiple Republicans in Harris County, Texas are challenging their losses? Well, we got the filing from the losing candidate for county judge. The craziest part? She already conceded — the day after Election Day.
