After conservative judges blocked President Biden's debt relief program, it's now in the hands of our MAGA-fied Supreme Court...
It's going to be a tough fight, so we're asking 5,000 people to sign our petition urging the Supreme Court to pass student debt relief!
The Supreme Court will hear oral arguments in February, but we're putting the pressure on NOW with an argument of our own. Read it below and add your name if you agree!
To: The Supreme Court of the United States
From: The undersigned
Your Honors,
Student loan debt has weighed down our economy and the lives of countless Americans for too long. We, the undersigned, urge you to pass Biden's debt relief plan to help ease this burden.
The cost of higher education has been SKYROCKETING in recent years, making advanced degrees out of reach for many Americans without taking on loans. And with increases in interest rates, many graduates end up owing 5, 10 times more than their original loan.
More jobs than ever require college degrees for consideration, yet wages have stagnated, making it impossible to get ahead financially, even with an advanced degree! The recent economic challenges brought on by the pandemic have only exacerbated this issue.
Our education system is in desperate need of reform, and Biden's debt relief plan is a much-needed first step in making higher education and financial freedom a possibility for Americans seeking to become productive members of our society.
Please, allow Biden to execute his debt relief plan!
Sincerely,
