Team,
In our latest priorities survey, I heard so many people voice their concerns about the future of the USPS under Louis DeJoy. I agree, and I’m ready to take action.
Since former President Donald Trump appointed him in 2020, Postmaster General Louis DeJoy has done everything he can to make the USPS more expensive and less convenient to use.
DeJoy enacted massive cuts to postal services, decommissioned mail-sorting machines, and slowed down mail delivery in the months leading up to the 2020 election.
Not only that, but late last year, a federal judge ruled that DeJoy’s harmful policies right before the 2020 elections harmed delivery. Seems awfully convenient that in a year with record-breaking vote-by-mail, Trump’s hand-picked appointee enacted changes that hurt delivery services.
Enough is enough — it’s time for Louis DeJoy to be removed as Postmaster General before he degrades the USPS any further.
If you agree, add your name today to our petition to call on the USPS Board of Governors to remove DeJoy from office as soon as possible.

Millions of Americans rely on the postal service for access to medicine, paychecks, ballots, and so much more — which is why I made sure passing legislation to improve the USPS was a priority last year. But Louis DeJoy has more than proved how little he cares about the future of the USPS.
In 2022, we passed major bills to improve the USPS, including the Postal Service Reform Act and the Inflation Reduction Act, which allocated $3 billion to electrify our mail delivery services. In fact, a company based right here in Wisconsin is building thousands of electric mail trucks. This is a win for our economy, our environment, and our mailing service — no thanks to Louis DeJoy.
The USPS is a fundamental service for all Americans. We can’t let DeJoy slow down or dismantle the postal service’s progress any longer. If you’re with me, sign my petition calling for DeJoy’s removal from office.
