It was a bittersweet farewell, John.

Governor Larry Hogan gave his farewell address to Maryland yesterday and in
it, showed his deep love, admiration, and commitment to the people he served.
As a Republican Governor in a deep-blue state, Governor Hogan said he's proud
of his accomplishments and the bipartisan work done during his time in office
like the $4 billion in tax, toll, and fee relief for small businesses,
families, and senior citizens.
He also helped usher through meaningful legislation to rebuild Maryland's
aging infrastructure, navigated the state through the Covid-19 pandemic, kept
law and order during the Baltimore riots in 2015, and showed the country how to
get things done by working together and focusing on the issues that matter.
"I vowed that day that the politics that have divided our nation need not
divide our state. I'm proud to say that we kept that promise. Together, we
lived up to Maryland's heritage as a state of middle temperament."
Governor Hogan never strayed from his promise to work to unite the leadership
in Maryland and ensure that the government workFOR the people... and he, along
withAn America United, will continue to fight for a better way forward across
the country.
But we need you on board if we hope to continue this important work. Please
contribute $8 for 8 years of successful, common sense leadership and help An
America United and Larry Hogan work to get things done.
