The ABCs of Democracy
Dear Neighbor,
Early Saturday morning, I addressed my colleagues in the House of Representatives as the Democratic Leader. I discussed how House Democrats are united and ready to get to work and defend the progress that has been made.
Over the last two years, Democrats have been hard at work on behalf of the American people getting big things done. We passed the American Rescue Plan, the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, gun safety legislation for the first time in 30 years, the CHIPS and Science Act and the Inflation Reduction Act. It was one of the most consequential Congresses in American history.
The D in Democrat stands for deliver, and we will always do the right thing by the American people.
