John,

Today, House Majority Leader Nancy Pelosi will make history by officially introducing articles of impeachment against Donald J. Trump in the U.S. Senate.

And it’s good she waited to do it, because yesterday, new evidence against Trump and his henchman Rudy Giuliani was revealed -- and it’s a clear smoking gun:

  1. A hand-written note from Giuliani associate Lev Parnas that explicitly states “Get Zelensky to announce that the Biden case will be investigated.”
  2. A letter from Giuliani to the Ukrainian president explaining that he (with Trump’s “knowledge and consent”) is representing Trump’s PRIVATE interests in setting up a meeting with him, not the interests of the American people or our foreign policy;
  3. Text messages from Guiliani’s cronies that suggest they were tracking the whereabouts and even potentially threatening the safety of U.S. Ambassador Yovanovitch.

What does this all mean? It’s further proof that Trump and his goons tried to dig up dirt on his political opponent by pressuring a foreign leader, and then lied about it.

This evidence is damning, John, and yet Mitch McConnell and other members of the Senate GOP have already vowed to defend Trump at all costs by holding a sham impeachment trial.

But there’s word that a handful of Republican Senators may defy McConnell and agree to hear from witnesses in this trial -- as they all should, if they want to uphold the Constitution and defend our democracy.

As this trial is about to begin, we the people need to rise up and demand it’s a fair one. Add your name now to our petition demanding every Senator, regardless of party, do their job and allow the facts and witnesses of this case against Trump be heard >>

ADD YOUR NAME

We can’t let them get away with this. Let’s ensure they’re held accountable and do everything in our power to remove Trump from office.

Thanks for taking action,

-Yvette
