John, I'd like to clear up any confusion about the Trump Administration's recently-announced e-cigarette policy. It's a sham. Here's the deal:
President Trump himself said it best as the policy was announced: "It’s a big industry. We want to protect the industry." And that's exactly what his Administration did. They pulled a select few products off the market – mostly ones that industry leaders had already stopped selling in the U.S. anyway – and hoped everyone would be fooled. Well, we're not. It's now even more critical that Congress, states and cities take action to protect our kids and end this public health crisis. The movement is growing fast. Just this week, New Jersey became the second state to end the sale of all flavored e-cigarettes! And campaigns are underway in states around the country. We'll be leading this fight in 2020. And I'm proud to have you with us as a supporter. We'll keep you up to date on any actions you can take in your area throughout the year. Sincerely,
