The LA Times editorial board recently came out in support of Senate Bill 4 (Wiener), which will provide a streamlined process for religious organizations and nonprofit colleges to develop affordable housing on their property.
“There are a lot of faith communities that see this as an essential expression of their faith, addressing the housing and homeless crisis,” Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel said about the new bill.
