Republicans forced the House into the longest contest for Speaker in more than 200 years! The Republican Party is in DISARRAY – and American families are paying the price.

After just a week in the majority, Kevin McCarthy has already sold his soul to the same far-right extremists who encouraged and incited the deadly insurrection just two years ago. The chaos and obstruction are only going to grow in the months ahead.

But on the other side of the aisle, Democrats have united behind democratic values, bold policy agendas, and a shared belief in the power of good government. Leaders in Congress like Sen. Carper, chair of the Environment and Public Works Committee, are working night and day to move our country forward in spite of the GOP's obstruction and political scheming.
