John,
Time has really flown by, and in just one week from today, I will be sworn in as your next Governor of Maryland. I can’t tell you how honored and excited I am.
We went from polling at one percent in this competitive gubernatorial primary race to building a diverse, statewide movement of people ready for a Maryland that will leave no one behind.
Aruna and I have spent the last couple of months putting together a dedicated, skilled team to manage our administration and deliver on the pressing issues impacting Marylanders, like unlocking opportunities for work, wages, and wealth, creating a 21st century transportation system, creating more affordable housing, addressing climate change, and so much more.
But as soon as I’m sworn in to office and we begin our work to deliver for Maryland, our campaign has to stop all fundraising until the legislative session ends in April.
While most campaigns can fundraise throughout the year to fund their operations and outreach efforts, we’re limited to raising money in shorter amounts of time, which is why we have to reach our big goal before the freeze begins.
With just seven days left until Aruna and I officially serve you, we have just seven days left to hit our $30,000 goal. This movement is fueled by grassroots donors like you pitching in whatever you can afford. Will you pitch in $10 or $25 today to support us?

I can’t thank you enough for all you’ve done to help get us here. Like I always say, it’s a movement, not a moment. Let’s sustain it for the long haul and move Maryland forward!
Elevate,
Wes
