And trusted teachers used that time to “transition” a student without so much as an email to her parents about what was going on.

And when the parents found out what was going on, school faculty pointed at California’s Department of Education for cover, claiming it was “state law.”
California’s Department of Education has a policy directing school officials to “socially transition” students without informing parents.
We know that absent a lawsuit, there is no way to stop this insanity and protect kids in government run schools.
That’s why we’re taking Chico Unified Schools to court to challenge this policy and put an end to it once and for all.
