I have been asked the same question many times: after everything that has happened since I became Mayor, would I really do this all over again? My answer is always the same: Absolutely!

I am proud of our progress in the last four years, but there’s work still to do. My dream for Knoxville’s future is a city that is safe, affordable, and equitable; a city that is inclusive. In a second term, I will keep working to make Knoxville a city where every neighborhood is a community of opportunity.
