John, in the first legislative vote of the new Congress, the House of Representatives voted to eliminate $71 BILLION and stop Biden’s IRS Auditor Army from coming after you and your family!
This is a major victory for fiscal responsibility – and for every taxpayer – and as one of the best supporters of Citizens Against Government Waste I needed you to hear this exciting news.
In case you missed it, House Republicans – with no support from Democrats – passed the “Family and Small Business Taxpayer Protection Act.”
This bill slashed $71 billion given to the IRS to fund 87,000 new agents, who would be aiming their audits at you, your family, and your business – that came from Joe Biden’s oppositely named “Inflation Reduction Act.”
Not only does this move signal that the new Congress is going to prioritize saving your taxpayer dollars and getting our economy back on track …
… but it also shows us here at Citizens Against Government Waste that the new Republican majority in the House is receptive to our mission!
John, we’re excited to hit the ground running to provide fiscally responsible members of Congress with the right research and information they need to save billions more tax dollars from being wasted!
And we have worked every day since the Inflation Reduction Act was passed to get rid of Biden’s 87,000-strong Auditor Army.
And right now, we need to keep working hard to make sure the Senate to passes this bill and the $71 billion tax dollars get saved for good.
Our efforts to provide Congress with the information they need to cut wasteful spending wouldn’t be possible without you. Thank you for supporting our mission.
I hope to write you again soon with more good news coming out of this Congress. John, this breaking news gives me hope that this will be Congress’s – and Citizens Against Government Waste’s – most productive year yet on behalf of our supporters like you and all taxpayers.
