During one his first appearances of the legislative session, newly-elected Republican State Senator Nathan Wesenberg suggested jailing Governor Walz for doing his job to keep Minnesotans safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. Watch here:
While our DFL legislative leaders are seizing the 2023 legislative session to fully fund public education, codify abortion rights into Minnesota law, legalize adult-use cannabis, and more, Republican lawmakers are still calling the COVID-19 vaccine a “death shot” and spreading dangerous health care misinformation.
Minnesotans want lawmakers to tackle the tough issues facing Minnesotans, not posture for cheap political points. While Governor Walz and our DFL leaders fight to deliver, it’s up to us to have their back.
