WSFA 12, Montgomery: Experts say Medicaid expansion is feasible in Alabama

Medicaid expansion would keep Alabamians healthier and strengthen our states health care system for everyone as the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency declaration draws near. If [Alabama] kept people on continuous Medicaid coverage, then they would get the federal government to pay more for those individuals, Arises Debbie Smith tells WSFA 12 in Montgomery.
