U.S. to Train Ukrainian Troops on Patriot Missile at Oklahoma Base

Roughly 100 Ukrainian troops will begin training to use the Patriot missile defense system at a U.S. military base as early as next week, as the WSJ reports.

Biden, Trudeau talk Haiti, trade at Mexico City summit

President Joe Biden and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on Tuesday pledged to promote prosperity for people throughout the hemisphere as they opened wide-ranging talks about the fragile security situation in Haiti, North American trade, political unrest in Brazil and more on the sidelines of the North American Leaders Summit, as the AP reports.

Brazil’s Lula accuses security forces of failure to halt riot

Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva accused the country’s police and intelligence officials of failing to halt Sunday’s insurrection by supporters of former far-right president Jair Bolsonaro in the capital, saying they “neglected their duty,” as The Washington Post reports.
