It’s been quite a week, folks!

While House Republicans took 15 attempts to even agree on who should be their Speaker, we kicked off the 118th Congress last week with a Democratic Senate majority. We started by making history — electing Senator Patty Murray as the first woman Senate president pro tem.

I’m ready to go to the mat to secure policies to address climate change, support reproductive rights, expand voting rights, and lower costs for New Mexicans and folks across the country.

But first, I’m back home to hear directly from New Mexicans about the issues they need us to tackle next.

I’ve already started working with the newly all-Democrat New Mexico congressional delegation to ensure that New Mexicans impacted by the devastating Hermit’s Peak/Calf Canyon Fire have the resources they need to claim the assistance Congress authorized last year.

My work will continue until every single New Mexican knows they are heard. I will never play political games. That’s why it’s so important I can keep fighting for New Mexicans in the Senate alongside a Democratic majority.

But House Republicans’ spectacle last week was a preview of what’s to come if they take back the Senate, too.

Can you help my campaign lay the foundation to keep the Senate in Democratic hands and support my work for New Mexico? Your donation of $10 or any amount today will go a long way:
