Chris knows that as an elected official his obligation is to use his position to serve the people – not to benefit from personal financial gain.

That's why, now at the beginning of the new 118th Congress, Chris has renewed his call on both House Democratic and Republican leadership to include a ban prohibiting elected officials from abusing their public trust by using insider knowledge to trade and profit from the stock market.

78 members of Congress have recently violated the STOCK Act, a law intended to stop insider trading and prevent conflicts of interest among legislators.

Chris will continue fighting tooth and nail to address this critical issue in order to restore integrity to the lawmaking body in 2023 and beyond.
