It's a new year, but it's more of the same from right-wing legislators in Harrisburg, who continue to attack our democracy and our right to vote.

After years of election denials and the Big Lie, efforts to intimidate or suppress voters, an insurrection, and so much more, we must remain vigilant in protecting our democracy and the franchise of every Pennsylvanian.

The latest front in this battle? Two state constitutional amendments – one that would institute a strict photo identification mandate that could disenfranchise hundreds of thousands of people, and another that would take the power of election oversight away from county election offices and put it into the hands of a single elected official, the state auditor general, an office that has never had oversight of elections.

If these efforts are successful, the amendments would put our democracy and liberty in grave danger. We must speak out now and stop these amendments in their tracks.
