Calling all aspiring climate activists, relationship builders, protectors of democracy, and pursuers of justice: We're looking to grow our team here at Maine Conservation Voters and Maine Conservation Alliance!

We'd love your help finding new team members who share our vision for tackling climate change, safeguarding our air, land, and water, protecting voting rights, nurturing economic opportunities afforded by clean energy, and centering all of our work through a race equity lens.

We are looking to hire a full-time Development Manager and a Summer 2023 Fellow.

Our new Development Manager [[link removed]] should have a passion for connecting people with the issues that matter most to them. This new team member will support our event fundraising and grow our membership program to help realize MCV/MCA’s annual development goals. They will ensure a multi-faceted approach to donor relationship-building including retention, acquisition, and growth. It will be particularly important that our new team member is prepared to consistently communicate our organization’s commitment to racial justice and equity with our members and help ground our fundraising program in race, equity, and environmental justice to contribute to systemic change. This is a hybrid remote / in-person position.

Our Summer Fellow [[link removed]] should be highly motivated with a passion for climate action and voting rights. They will assist with a broad range of environmental and democracy policy issues currently facing Maine and the nation, including policy research, advocacy strategies, and planning for future legislative action. Applicants should share our commitment to increasing racial diversity in our movement and organization, weaving racial justice and equity into the work we do, and ensuring an inclusive organizational culture. This is a paid, remote position.
