Multiple Republicans are already plotting a run against Sherrod in 2024.

1. Sherrod is one of only three Senate Democrats representing states Trump won in 2020.


2. He’s also the last remaining statewide-elected Democrat in Ohio.


3. Mitch McConnell and Senate Republicans only need to flip two seats to take back the Senate.

No matter what the matchup ends up being in 2024, the Ohio Senate race is going to be one of the most expensive and competitive races in the country.
