Today I am thrilled to announce my enthusiastic endorsement of Emily Larson’s re-election campaign for Mayor of Duluth. A proven leader with a record of success, Mayor Larson is the leader we need and deserve and she has my full and firm support.
Emily’s approach to difficult issues is exactly what Duluth needs. She is grounded in her values and also has the courage and fortitude to follow through; standing strong in her commitment to community. Through our conversations and work together over the past several years, it is always abundantly clear that Emily has the vision to keep Duluth moving forward.
I’ve seen her effective leadership up close and let me tell you - Emily works hard and she gets results. Together, we secured millions toward our bonding priorities like revitalizing the Zoo and transitioning the power plant to cleaner energy. From rebuilding the Lakewalk to securing millions of federal funding to assist in the Aerial Lift Bridge repair, targeted community investments and creating the Duluth Street Plan Emily has worked tirelessly to invest and build up our community. Emily has the relationships statewide and federally to continue getting things done for a better Duluth.
